@matrix at least now it makes sense that $60 games are 60€
before 60€ was $70 i think
so i paid $10 extra
but prices like this always confuse me

@EnjuAihara @matrix and usd itself sucks ass right now too >.>

at least euro isn't as bad as JPY. and yeah, at least now we can all say something is $60 or 60€ and it will mean the same thing xD

@EnjuAihara
Yep, finally it makes sense. Although I'm fairly certain that Euro countries have higher VAT and income taxes than the US so they might do it to compensate that.

@matrix didnt they do the same price for rtx 3080 msrp too?
i think it was $700 and 700€
imagine if they did 700 yen

@EnjuAihara
I dunno. I'm quite certain USD MSRP doesn't include VAT but no clue about EUR

@matrix oh right
kinda stupid to not include it i feel like
maybe thats why some things seem a bit cheaper.
or maybe its just more expensive to get stuff to europe.
i bought something for 31€ and on american amazon it was only $24

@EnjuAihara
Yep.
Although afaik Europe has higher taxes and more hidden taxes.

MSRP does not include VAT in the US, although some things don't have VAT. i'm not really sure how that's determined. some states still don't have taxes for digital items.
when i buy the digital minis from heroforge there isn't any tax on them but if i buy a game or even digital currency on steam it's got tax on it so i really don't know.
