I understand why countries like Croatia, Italy etc have them though. They absolutely milk the tourists. Taking a highway from east to west in Italy costs only a bit less than a year highway pass in Czechia.

@matrix I went to france once and that was like over 15 years ago.
Bakery goods and the beach were great. Most tourist restaurants are a bit dodgy and also those public toilets gave me a culture shock.

Looks like it didn't get enough bitrate. Looking at the file metadata, it has a crf of 18 (which normally would be good enough for any resolution), but also a cap on bitrate to 1300kbps (vbv_maxrate=1300), which would destroy the video quality, considering you have a 4k video to encode.

My suggestion would be to add a resize, limit the resolution. Otherwise, you'd need to increase the bitrate by too much to get good results, and that would have consequences on encoding time and bandwidth usage.
@alyx Yeah, adding a resize for video that's over some size is going to be difficult, but I agree that's the best option.
