ok, new blog article, this time explaining the fediverse to new people: https://wowana.me/blog/federated-social-networking.xht
and i'm officially ready to release the instance list i'm working on, its goal is to give users a starting point for deciding which instance is right for them: https://wowana.me/fediverse.xht
keep these links in mind when referring new people to fedi, i think they'll be helpful. and if there's anything you believe i should fix, or if you want your instance added to the list, feel free to let me know

re: fediverse culture
#bashthefash people talk about stopping harassment, but the only people i ever feel harassed by are leftists who don't like how i say things. its fucking stupid because I AM A LEFTIST. radical left even. my brown transgender anarcho-syndicalist ass is part of a marginalized group. doesn't matter tho because i don't tow the asinine-ass party line that i'm supposed to.
that's why i was never allowed to be part of the mastodon network. some olive branches were extended years ago, but i got instance blocked pretty quickly once they realised i wasn't going to drink the coolaid.

@gatorguy76 Welcome. It's branded as gaming, but there are no restrictions on what you can and can't talk about.
