By extreme mate guarding I mean when an older partner is scared that their younger partner might leave them for a younger more capable mate and it often results in abuse.

Because they can suffer long term health problems from getting penetrated by an adult penis and from giving birth. Also high age difference between partners tends to lead to extreme mate guarding. (I assume you aren't 12)
And I also doubt a child would make a good wife.

@applejack I see the difference, but impregnating preteens or young teens isn't good even if it's with an intention of leading a trad life.
