It's important to support free software and groups like the FSF/EFF because this is the future they want for us.

1. Your software belongs to us.
2. You pay us for the privilege to use it.
3. We can terminate this privilege at any time for any reason or no reason at all.
4. This is not up for discussion. Thread locked.

Free software is the last real bulwark before total pozzing of the Internet. Once you can't even theoretically host alternatives without developing everything from the compiler up, you're fucked. Never take for granted that right now even entire programming languages are free to use, because there will come a day where the most popular languages require a annual license to compile.

One of these things is not like the others
One of these things is a cultural sinkhole

Thanks, I didn't know about that, but will they even work since they are from 2017

Notepad++ is legit amazing. A simple search shows you though that there's Notepadqq for Linux.

I really like Dolphin but this is one thing that really makes me miss Cinnamon. The open in terminal and open as root buttons.
This is a legitimate criticism from Linus.

I admit that I don't because I don't like kids. I'm simply dragging upon what I remember and what I remember is that I had my fetish since basically forever but the connection with sex only clicked when I was maybe 12-13.
I also remember that at 8 there was something interesting about naked girls but again it didn't click until puberty.

The odds were meant for the latter part. That someone would publish those photos as an adult.
I think it's fairly common that some kids take nude pictures of themselves, but I think it's never intentionally sexual.
Kids are pretty stupid.

You don't need Adidas but you need shoes and no you don't need an iPhone.

But the scenario you are describing is like 1 in a billion.

@applejack
8 year old wouldn't purposefully take sexy pictures (she could take random nude pictures because she thinks funny, I certainly did). The law probably disagrees, but I guess it could be fine depending on the pictures and the context, nudity by itself isn't sexual.
