"But think about the artists!" is a favorite refrain of so-called "intellectual property" enthusiasts (aka corporations.) Hear from one #DefectiveByDesign (DBD) guest writer and musician about how #DRM totally cramped his style: u.fsf.org/1rx #EndDRM #Music

If you own a razer mouse and use Linux then you may be interested in OpenRazer. While Razer doesn't provide open source drivers for their products OpenRazer aims to fill this void. It has recently been updated to version 3.8 which brings support for six new devices. The update also fixes six bugs, and adds support for 8000 Hz polling rate for the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. OpenRazer is licensed under GPLv2.0 and is available through various distros and Github.

I just wish that hardware wasn't becoming such spyware these days. Between Intel ME, AMD PSP, Microsoft Pluton, etc you can't buy a CPU or a GPU without having to see all the ways you're getting screwed. 20 years ago new hardware was a fun experience.

I had to get creative when solving a bug earlier. A class was sometimes reading behind by one line of data to be read in so I added an if statement to call an additional sr.ReadLine() so if the error shows up the class was not interrupted in loading and if it didn't show up it carried on as usual. I never could figure out why it insisted on doing this sometimes but at least I found a flexible solution.
Government of Alberta to intervene on legal challenge of Saskatchewan's parental rights bill
Alberta Justice Minister Mickey Amery said the province will file an application to bar the Saskatchewan Court of King’s Bench from reviewing the constitutionality of the Parents’ Bill of Rights Act. 'This case has the potential to impact parental rights across Canada,' he said.

@Paulinnation

It sucks here by and large. A couple years ago my Dad went to the ER due to breathing issues. They took an xray but had nobody on staff to read it. Sent him home and called a few days later telling him to come back in. Had to wait eight hours after arriving to be told the results. First world healthcare right there.

Added an actual error message now to Megapixels instead of crashing on launch on unsupported phones :D

I met Air Force Major and JAG Officer @kacyjdixon today.

She originally refused the COVID jab bc she was pregnant & these shots had not been tested on pregnant women. Then, when the mandate came into effect, she was ordered to get the shot when she was eight months pregnant. She fought this and bought some time.

As a lawyer, she looked into the lawfulness of the DoD VAX mandate and realized the order was illegal. As a JAG, her duty was to properly advise her commanding officers on the problems of the mandate. She did this to no avail, even joining a lawsuit.

Had other JAGs done their job, researched the lawfulness of this order, and properly advised their commanders, perhaps we would be in a much different situation.

In talking with Kacy, we both realize we must restore the military, but it HAS TO BE through ACCOUNTABILITY.

If you want to support us in our effort in attaining accountability in the military, please sign the petition supporting the Declaration of Military Accountability at t.co/4vb3Jq8rwQ.

I also gave her a copy of @robgreen1010’s book, Defending the Constitution Behind Enemy Lines. It is the most comprehensive book capturing the difficulties and problems with the mandate.
