FOSS minimalist roguelike game "Brogue: Community Edition" has been updated to version 1.14. This update overhauled five feats, allowed allies to spear attack over the player, took away the ability of monsters to attack around corners, various UI changes and bug fixes, and more. Brogue: CE is a community-lead fork of the original Brogue game. The code is licensed using AGPLv3.0. The game can be downloaded from Github as well as a Flatpak from Flathub.

This week's donation was to the Nitrux project. Nitrux is a Linux distro that is based off Debian and uses it's own desktop called NX Desktop which is based off KDE Plasma. It has no package manager and uses App Images instead although you can also use Flatpaks and setup other programs if need be. Nitrux uses OpenRC for it's init system, the Liquorix Kernel, and uses the EXT4 file system. It's a unique distro that is worth a look.
