@judgedread @aefirestone @tiwake @m Now, this is interesting. This certainly wasn't the case when I was there, and I haven't heard of this until just now.

Can other Gabbers attest to this?

@realcaseyrollins @aefirestone @tiwake @m No, I could not. Gab shadowbans posts from outside Gab. I can do the most damage right here.

@UnselfishTeamGuy@gab.com I think the issue with teaching health is that there are different perspectives on health and multiple ways to deal with health issues. What if you wanna get all the vaccines? What if you wanna be antivaxx? We shouldn't brainwash children either way.

And I don't think schools should be teaching sexual behaviors at all. That's parents' jobs.

Why wouldn't a parent be teaching their child about health? That would be concerning.

Schools really should be teaching less controversial but more practical things, y'know, how to actually operate in society as an adult. You can get through high school and still be a child, precisely because of this.

Nothing cerebral is being taught in public schools, by and large; it's either useless drivel or propaganda.

Capitalism: yes
Communism: yes
Bodily health: no
Art: yes
Anything else: taxes, law, programming, job hunting, shopping, situation deescalation, cooking, and raising pets.

@UnselfishTeamGuy@gab.com I'm not saying all schools, just public schools.

People should be allowed to support personal agendas, but the government should not be openly pushing agendas that are destructive (at best).

my brother is mad about bitcoin because people use it to commit crimes and avoid taxes and I'm like yeah that's the point.
@hakui @wakarimasen I lived in this weird place where I was exposed to deep culture from every time period simultaneously, I can talk to boomers about our favorite episodes of Dobie Gillis.
