I don't really understand protests, I don't see how they change the state of things. But I can understand wanting to be heard. But how do you get heard when you become a large crowd? All those voices are drowning your own out. You may even lose yourself to them, do things you wouldn't normally do.

Looks like protesters are arguing about whether or not they should be smashing windows.

Looks like rioting has started in #DC, people just started smashing the windows of stores and police cares.
Not very much violence beyond that, however.
@realcaseyrollins I'm a little upset at her apathy. Property destruction, theft, assault .. these need to be discouraged. They are crimes. You can be heard without being an asshole. Yelling on the streets until 3am without destroying a single thing on the street, is a much more powerful message than breaking a single window.
