I get it, I get it. I mean. Normies (in all places) just want to do what they always do, and a little more. Maybe watch soccer. Maybe play some games. Maybe play some movies. Maybe buy a new couch.

So long as they get to do those things for what is considered by them a reasonable effort, there won't be a rebellion. Most people don't have use for their rights.

Take freeze peach. NPCs don't need that because they'll just regurgitate what they're told. It's when you disagree with the norm that you require protection, and that happens when there's increasinyg scarcity.

Who knows, after the trade war with USA perhaps we'll start seeing more discontent and protest against the CCP.
@nerdman @aven @matrix @realcaseyrollins protests in China tend to be at the local level, where corruption is most unchecked. If you can avoid getting beaten up by your city's paid goons, you can protest them and the national government may listen and investigate. But if you try to protest the national government, you get accused of trying to undermine socialist ideals which is illegal.
@moonman @realcaseyrollins @matrix I've heard that in East Germany in the USSR, 1/4 of the population were paid informants, who would rat out anyone planning anything, including each other. That plus a guilty-until-proven-innocent legal system makes opposing the state impossible.

I'd bet China is similar. They disappear people frequently. In Egypt they stopped the protests with snipers shooting from the rooftops.

It's ironic that the people who call the USA fascist are actually able to protest without being murdered here. If Trump were Hitler, you wouldn't see people calling Trump Hitler, because they'd be disappeared.
@realcaseyrollins Shaking hands (hand tremors): 14 causes and treatments

Tremors in the hands can occur without a cause or as a symptom of an underlying condition. Shaky hands is not a life-threatening symptom, but it can have an impact on daily activities.

Most people have a slight tremor in the hands, and it may be especially noticeable when holding the hands straight out in front of the body.
Tremors range in severity, and several conditions can cause more noticeable shaking.
A tremor is a common movement disorder. An involuntary, rhythmic muscle contraction causes the shaking. Tremors are most common in the hands, but they can also occur in the arms, head, vocal cords, torso, and legs.
Tremors can be intermittent, happening every so often, or constant. Sometimes tremors develop on their own, and other times they signal an underlying health issue.
