@cofewizard I tried untagging you, but there were too many branches.

Can't you mute the conversation?

@Lainyboy @alex @cofewizard @kino @realcaseyrollins @sjw No need to apologize, I said it's cool. Just remember to think before reacting.
@Faggot @realcaseyrollins @Lainyboy @alex @cofewizard @kino @sjw If you use Tusky, then why the effing fuck would you need to care about web UI options?

@Lainyboy@neckbeard.xyz @p @alex @cofewizard @sjw@neckbeard.xyz @Faggot @kino Boi you're literally perpetuating the badness tho

@augustus i have some potential answers / solutions

heavily in development, i cannot stress this enough.

apocalypse-proof collaboration network prototypes:

i have some hardware concepts in progress https://xj9.io/wiki/#tomo

my research is around simplifying the protocol stacks so they can easily be ported to all kinds of hardware. you can think of tracker as the network counterpart to projects like collapseos. pretty much all of it is meant to run on salvage hardware like a wii, old computers, and microcontrollers.

there are a number of community operated mesh networks out there that can be deployed with extremely limited hardware. lots of research is going into mobile adhoc networks. the chaotic network topology wreaks havoc on IP, but there are some interesting non-IP approaches out there.

i could see mesh networks replacing internet for digital coms in this scenario. wouldn't be too hard to deploy with salvage hardware honestly. :walkaway: :heart_anarchy:

Protip: Try some good old fashioned boot licking if your running short of disposable white guilt cash.
