@Ricotta @Jdogg247 Some of us actually have lives and families and can't afford to support burning everything to the ground

Only poor people with nothing to lose, envious middle-class peeps, or rich elitists who think that the violence could never affect them are rooting for this mindless, anarchal chaos

Nah. Being human is awesome.
I know of no better alternative. Enjoy your life.

yes, there are some rough parts. there are moments when you suffer. But I am sure that no matter the gender, you can enjoy your life.

@Jdogg247 Until Tucker goes out in the streets with a rifle and starts accumulating an enemy body count himself, he has no room to assign responsibility for dealing with this situation to anyone.
Tucker calling us pussies because we are all sitting here letting America go to shit...and he’s right.

Wouldn't that depend on the level of encryption? And where the keys are stored? Theoretically encrypt anything hard enough and you should be able to put it anywhere without worrying about security.

Wed dev security question: is an auth cookie really just an encrypted cookie containing the user's ID? This is secure? I had never really understood how auth cookies worked before cuz usually the framework abstracts it enough, but I'm a bit closer to the internals on Phoenix.

> Ability to connect search feature to federated database (optional)

How is this different than the search feature that already exists?

@realcaseyrollins @alex Gab, but no one can agree how the name is pronounced
Features to get in place before I put serious and money effort behind standing up a publicly accessible community instance:

* TRENDING - this is feature request #1
* Android/iOS branded App
* Soapbox-FE emoji integration
* Soapbox-FE treats private messages as "chat rooms"
* Mobile app treats private messages as "chat rooms"
* If possible, SoapBox-FE has "look inside" similar to the default pleroma-fe before you login
* Group lists that you can subscribe to, moderate and join yourself
* Ability to connect search feature to federated database (optional)

Thoughts?
Parler, a proprietary centralized social network built by conservatives, does absolutely nothing to solve the underlying issues of Facebook and Twitter. It's just a social network run by a different dictator.
