@mewmew Oh, interesting. I've had no prior dealings with this person, but I guessed that he or she had seen the thread.

Naturally, things have to get way bad before people decide they want them to be better. There's a big chance that abortion won't be made illegal again until infanticide is legalized.

Honestly tho most people don't understand how thin the line is between abortion and infanticide.

The right is forced to argue against infanticide now because of the moral decay following Roe v. Wade. It's crazy we're even at this point.

@dsfgs @mewmew @terryenglish @realcaseyrollins @shampoobottle @a7 I'm pretty far from conservative, but do you not find it strange that (outside of instances of rape) a self-inflicted consequence can be opted-out of by...harming someone else? I don't think it's particularly moral to harm someone because you did something you didn't want to deal with the consequences of and decided to harm someone else to get rid of the product of your actions.

Outside of cases where the mother is likely going to lose her life, and outside of instances where she didn't consent, it seems rather...strange, to have a view that harming others is okay to get out of the consequences of your actions.

@dsfgs @mewmew @terryenglish @realcaseyrollins @shampoobottle yes i am a beta cuck and i love beating women :shrug_yui:

but your last point is wrong, cause we are no where near over population and breeding naturally goes down if you reduce poverty.

@a7 @realcaseyrollins @shampoobottle @terryenglish if someone is anti-abortion but pro-sex ed, contraception, and for universal healthcare, then I don’t think they are hypocritical. that’s my position. nearly no one likes abortion

@kick @mewmew @terryenglish@blob.cat @shampoobottle @a7 I'm not Catholic or super knowledgeable in their theology but I would like to add that in Christianity, abuse is grounds for divorce.

@mewmew @kick @realcaseyrollins @shampoobottle @terryenglish they are right though you should look into 1960s catholics. They were a big part of the civil rights movement, bishops speaking out helped a bit and many christian groups marched with people. MLK himself was a pastor.

@mewmew @a7 @realcaseyrollins @shampoobottle @terryenglish God isn't wrong about many things but baby murder is definitely one of those things I think he needed to take a chill-pill on. Like, Dude, they're just babies! Why kill them? Psychopath!

@a7 @mewmew @terryenglish@blob.cat @dave @shampoobottle The trouble with a UBI is that it will destroy the economy; a whole lot of lower and middle class people won't work if they're getting paid to not work.

@terryenglish @realcaseyrollins @mewmew @shampoobottle a 3 year old is about as intelligent as a pig - definitions of when it is or isnt a human baby are murky and mostly meaningless when you look at our other killing practices if it the line isnt a simple human or not

@mewmew @terryenglish@blob.cat @shampoobottle @a7 I don't like baby killing...guess I'm just a sexist who wants to control women because...I forget why I'm just mean, okay!!
