* On how to Curate our Feeds and Remove Extraneous Noise *
-- CW -- Long Form post.
A grateful post, acknowledging the Goodness of the #FILTERS option we have in #mastodon
Those who see my posts or follow my account already know, I am opinionated, verbose and passionate for ideas and causes that matter to me.
At the same time, it's important to FOCUS, cut the noise, De-Clutter. Keep stuff we don't care about, out of our Feeds.
Alternative is to be annoyed and waste energy that could be better used in Productive ways.
Have posted a Detailed Guide to Filters, it's right at the very top slot, Pinned post on my profile.
DON'T want CATS ? ---> https://qoto.org/@design_RG/104008634212142181
Read this, implement it, Bliss. Have a tea. 😜
Rationale - I am a Cat lover, maybe you are not, so that post shows you how to filter out my substantial stream of Found Felines goodness photos.
And while we are at that -- there are Other, rather substantial Annoyances, this being a Pandemic and worse, US election year.
Don't wanna hear it? Not there and not caring? Me too. Filters WILL do for you Bro.
Just select a few hashtags that are included in these posts; I had one, and adding a second one now. Bliss.
@SteveTheDragon @freemo Not really. Plenty of doctrine was decreed through plain speech.
@freemo Yep. This is all true.
@freemo Ah, I see. Those sound like Catholic practices. Catholicism adds extra doctrines and extrabibilical sources of theological though. I tend not to treat it as Christianity, but rather a spinoff.
It seems to me that Witchcraft and worshipping God are quite similar, both are appealing to the spirit realm. The key difference is Christians appeal to God, while in witchcraft, other deities and entities are appealed to instead. Which is probably why God prohibited it in the first place.
@VD15 Yeah I guess...not sure if he runs this but it's part of a network of alt tech services
I've moved over to @realcaseyrollins for my private account
This is literally just here to archive my old posts now
