Quite reckless. Judging by how quick they were to help him, it certainly seems like they weren't paring enough attention and thought he was stronger than he actually was.

Gentlemen, I appeal to your better judgement.. consider for a moment the efficacy of "rioting"..
i personally happen to believe that the power structure in the US is existentially reliant upon generating PoC rage and these riots are just evidence that the ruling class is still in place
if everything were fine for african americans there would be no political capital to generate from their plight
Y'all gotta decide whether or not the entertainment is worth the death and destruction, that's all.
As long as we keep telling ourselves we can't do anything to rioters, the violence will flourish until there's nothing and no one left to destroy.
Don't vote for the same people and expect change.

Vote differently, or move to a place that's better. But people would rather riot. It's easier.
I mean it's not like #GeorgeFloyd isn't getting justice rn; by all appearances, he is. Even #Trump sicced the #FBI on the case, and the officer's actually been charged, that should tell us something about the progress that's been made.
