@wolfspider @realcaseyrollins @_p Oof. If it is at Walmart then it is very easy to have on hand. But it is possible he didn't get that chance, they really came at him. Maybe one of them was able to disarm him or stop him from reaching his weapon. It was hard to tell whether he was using anything, but the fact we didn't hear anyone else get injured makes me think less likely that he used it or it was very quickly taken off him. They really hoarded around him.

@sim
Okay, there's an extended version that I had but didn't post being it was included with 's exclusive interview with the person who filmed the beating, maybe I'll share it. It shows him fleeing some pursuers (who reports say were throwing harmful objects at him) before rushing one of the people who was attacking him, holding the machete high in the air.

Maybe I'll post it in today's batch of footage.

@andreas @Locksmith @realcaseyrollins na I just dont care who you are, have a vague idea of you as some fat dude who sometimes pretends to be a girl, but not much more head space given than that.

If they don't start coming together to advocate for real measurable changes then they will lose support fast.

The violence will end, bit by bit, night by night.

The light is at the end of the tunnel, and peaceful protests will prevail.

slavic languages written using the fediverse is so 2016. JoJo for us president 2020

@realcaseyrollins @OrganicNectar96 an important distinction to make on the fediverse, for sure

but I'll leave it unambiguous to appease both sides

well pride month just started here and i wanna say to my fellow white queers that we cannot switch focus entirely now and forget about the protests going on.

we need to support our black siblings with whatever they need, for as long as they need it, because they've always supported us, because we have a shared interest in opposing the cops, and because of course, it's simply the right thing to do.

we got our rights through riots, and we got our rights through the work of black queers
