@djsumdog @realcaseyrollins i tend to be anti-union in general, which tags me as a savage :blobcatshh:

but yes, use it or lose it budgeting is dumb. i'm intimately familiar with the hoarding and gray marketeering that brings :blobcatsweat:

@icedquinn @realcaseyrollins The militarization has been a problem for a while. Police departments want to spend their budgets or else they loose them. They should spend them on martial arts training and pensions and cost of living raises instead. Pushing their discretionary spending that direction will help. Police unions should probably go away. I agree with Donut Operator's take on this somewhat, but he also has the fog of actually being a decent cop:

@djsumdog @realcaseyrollins Police are just the leviathan's teeth, to quote Silver Spook's poetic take on Hobbs. Ripping out an animal's teeth because its brain has cancer is retarded.

Go with Rand (explicitly ban this "qualified immunity" shit SCOTUS invented, so we can actually let juries hear cases of police abuse), embrace classical libertarianism (remove these idiot laws invented to give rich people power, war on drugs was never about your health!) and a surprising amount of problems with the police disintegrate.

They do need to be demilitarized, but that's partly city hall's fault as well.

@realcaseyrollins It's also very anit-cop. I use to be anti-cop when I was in my 20s, mostly because I saw friends busted for :weed: but the laws have gotten better. policies have gotten better. It's not perfect. There is a long way to go, but the answer has never been hating the cops. It should always be hating the policy.

There are bad cops out there. Barnes Law said it's probably like 8%~10% psychos, and police cameras have helped significantly. But disbanding cops? That's insanity!

The entire situation is really unveiling the ugly underbelly of anti-white racism as never seen before

I am SO GLAD we instituted the new Entry questionnaire system.

What would this person add to ANY instance ?
