About the Fediverse/Federation
I'm 50 years old and I'm an EFL teacher, as some of you may already know.
I started to use computers back in 1982/83 when the Sinclair ZX Spectrum arrived in Portugal. I was offered one by my 82-year-old grandfather, who was a very modern fellow for that time!
I've been using computers ever since but I'm not an expert nor an IT guy. Nonetheless, I love exploring and using good software. I also believe in freedom and in societies that are fairer to their members. That's the reason why I've been using GNU/Linux distributions for more than 20 years and never regretted the change!
My WordPress blog/webpage goes back to 2005 and I used to be on all the mainstream social networks. Not anymore! I dropped them more than one year ago, although there is one that has yet to go too, Reddit. https://libranet.de/display/0b6b25a8-215e-e940-521e-5aa439050769
