@EMPEROR @alex Women bring a lot of the crimes has mentioned. Yes, even murder, although of course to a lesser degree.

You can't infer sexist a meaning into a non-sexist message.

@alex @realcaseyrollins

rather flimsy argument on your part

"How many women immigrants do you know that smuggle drugs and rape people? It's very clear he's talking about men."

Women recruited as mules quite often.

"It's like women immigrants don't exist."

you cannot conclude that from what he has said. You cannot separate sexes of an ethnic group even if as in Europe males are the first to come in. entire family groups will enter and regroup.

"Male pattern violence is a real thing. Look it up. "

Don't lecture your readers if you want to convince them. You look it up and present the evidence which may be
1) a theory and
2) may come from biased studies. Women do as much harm in society as men albeit in different ways. How about now, women politicians refusing to take action against dangerous rioters who belong to the same political side. Women inflict just as much damage.

" but if we're going to generalize,"

you mean you condemn generalization but then proceed to another generalization

"I think it makes a lot more sense to generalize based on sex rather than race."

your final conclusion utterly unproven. neither race nor sex and separated out from ethnicity

@LukeAlmighty See I don't think we have to violate our principles to make others uphold the same.

Is there a mask that says "don't mind me, I'm just signaling my virtue"? Because I need that in my life.

hey all, this instance is going to shut down entirely pretty soon so i have moved to @pie, please follow me there, and either mute or unfollow here as this account is now a bot posting this message hourly til the instance's demise

I have a device that can reach out to anyone anywhere in this world. Now all I need is someone to reach out to.

@LukeAlmighty Well let's look at the mask hypocrites on the right. A principled approach would be to say "hey, if the government is forcing mask mandates, I'll violate them as peaceful protest. But, if a business doesn't want people with masks in the store and that's their decision and not the government's, i will go somewhere else." After all, many of these people support the autonomy of businesses to do whatever they see fit.

However, the unprincipled will break the rules and refuse to leave, even if they are told to do so by the owners. Which is trespassing btw.

So, do the mask hypocrites really respect private property? Do they really respect private businesses? Or do they really respect those freedoms so far as they align with what they believe, or it's convenient for them?

I'm beginning to wonder if I even fit in with the fediverse these days.

@LukeAlmighty My point is you're completely wrong about the need to break principles. Breaking principles kills them, it does not make them survive.

The ends do not justify the means.
