My laptop has nvidia but I disabled the intel graphics because (even on Windows,) it prevents gsync from working. That’s easy hah.

On other machines I didn’t have too much trouble getting optimus to go, though. If the battery life won’t be a problem, though, just disabling it is a fair solution. But if you do need it… well its actually not that hard on most distros.

@alex @igel @issdeinschnitzel @realcaseyrollins it invites too many questions about the nature of moral value: where does it come from, is it equal in all individuals.

a simple trait one can come up with is moral agency, which we generally consider to be absent in animals. but moral value being dependent on moral agency seems like a circular argument, so p1 is very, very flawed.
