Let me come at this American civil unrest from the direction of a minority guy who moved to a country where, all of a sudden, he was in the majority.

I'm Jewish, as is no secret. I grew up with a lot of antisemitic bullshittery that was seemingly baked into the fabric of US culture. It's no different for Black Americans. The racism is just baked the fuck in there and the people who can change it just don't seem to give a fuck.

Not a *single* fuck.

From a position in the Majority you may be able to affect change in your community, also. I mean, you don't need to go overboard with anything- the only person you can reliably change is yourself. Give it a think.

In the majority, shit is awesome by the way. Fuck me, it's good. I fucking love it, no lie. You should all try this shit sometime.

@hector Protests will absolutely aide the spread of Corona. That doesn't help drawing a false relationship between Corona's current spread and the protests themselves. Shit's still spreading- it never stopped. the US government response to Corona is, at the very best lack luster- and at the worst deeply criminal and evil.
