Ok, another broken system in the US. When you do a social media post your employer doesn’t like and fires you because of it, you might not be eligible for unemployment benefits. WTF?

BTW the earliest I plan on making my own instance is after the fall semester, but I might buy the hardware during the semester if an RPi will be enough for hosting.
@p's singleuser.club thing is pretty neat.
If I ever make an instance (which btw I only would do if I can accept donations because muh sustainability) I'd love to send excess donations to the project.
