Which is faster?

vs

rsync -av gleasonator:pleroma.sql .

@realcaseyrollins @alex I think it's smart waiting for them to leave before arresting them. As we've seen, comforting the mob directly leads to more violence and therefore the risk of casualties on both sides.

@ThreeOneThreeChris @realcaseyrollins @alex @judgedread No police force in the West can.

Deterrence is a big part of maintaining the social order.

The way they’re doing though: no TV crews, no newspaper or MSM announcements seem fishy to me.
@realcaseyrollins @judgedread @alex When they make an example in Portland, another city in another region of the country becomes the new flashpoint, enflamed by the response to the previous one. The situation is a giant grease fire at this point.

@realcaseyrollins @alex Aren't these the same rioters who have been setting buildings on fire and shooting off fireworks at police?

@realcaseyrollins @judgedread @alex DHS doesn’t have the budget or the personnel to deal with antifa in 50 states, with zero cooperation from the FBI and state & local agencies. These occasional unmarked car snatch-ups are an exercise in futility.
@judgedread @alex @realcaseyrollins The Prince must always appear to be virtuous and noble but to be so in reality would invite ruin.

Conservatives have been loosing ground for decades due to this mentality that makes them fight with their hands tied behind their backs.

I would wait and see what the truth is because, like most videos, we lack the context. We only see what the publisher of the video wants us to see.

I’m on the fence wether it’s arrests to do renditions or extractions of their infiltrators. Both would explain the videos.
@alex @realcaseyrollins I think the antifa are trying to set off a 1917 revolution and I favor limitless tactics to stop them because if antifa win they will be coming to my house to murder me.

@alex @realcaseyrollins I respect anyone who's willing to talk to people from opposing viewpoints without resorting to strawmen and name calling, even if I disagree.

@alex @realcaseyrollins Hmm. A political thread that doesn't make me want to throw my phone across the room. I like Mastodon.

@Moon @alex @issdeinschnitzel

Who defines and enforces legality? We've seen a clear line of when it will be enforced: If you tear down a statue you will be fine, if you smudge the BLM paint on the literal street they will find you.
@alex @spaceman

It's very important the government is following the law. I just don't belive anything "protestors" are saying. They are lying on video with footage direct contradicting their lies.
@issdeinschnitzel Absolutely not, Antifa are basically domestic terrorists. I agreed with that a long time before this. But we can't just let the government do whatever they want, either. "The people should not fear the government, the government should fear the people."
@spaceman @alex

I don't live in Portland, but the videos I see show rioting "protestors", so I don't think the government is escalating this.
@alex

Don't believe CNN. It's pretty clear they are not anonymous forces, but DHS agents.
