And yes, I did notice, that Switch had a bit of a cameo in the new Zelda games, but it still was a tool there to help immersion, not to become a main focus of the entire game.
@LukeAlmighty Astro is the mascot of free PS tech demos, but if they're making full game out of the tech demo that only shows that peak capitalism died long ago, we're well into late stage capitalism
"this game will expose how the controller for the PS5 has been neglected by alot of developers" well yeah, no time and resources for the devs to fiddle with actual gameplay functions when they have to push "realistic" graphics and DEI placation

@tomie you can tell it is 100% made for a new audience. Very disappointing. I knew from the moment it was announced it wasn't going to hold a candle to the original, partially just because you can't recreate the vibe of early 2000s games that made it so potent without actually just porting it.
@tomie oh man I just watched the new trailer HOLY SHIT IT'S WORSE THAN I THOUGHT. Angela looks and sounds like straight 👏🏻 ass 👏🏻 the character animation is dogshit and James doesn't sound great either. And this is the first confirmation that we have of bloober *not* staying faithful to the original because they have added IN SHITTY dialogue: "please tell him I'll be good!" FUCK OFFFFFF
@beardalaxy the original voices were sounding like a cheap stage play but gotta admit, it had its own lofi charm
the new voices are ass, I can't even make out wtf they're saying most of the time
@tomie the charm with the old voices is that they were just regular ass people doing VA. If anything they had done some work for like commercials and that's it. On top of that, they were directed to sound a little bit... Off. All the new voices that have been added to sh2 both in this and HD sound a lot more like professional VAs trying to "sell" the acting, whereas the original sounds uncannily plain.
