When I look up how to lose weight, I want tips on how to do it. I do NOT need a 20th video with an excelent 2h explanation on what is a calloric deficit. Bitch, there are already 2000 videos explaining that concept. Do you seriously feel that special, that you believe you will ecplain it better?

@LukeAlmighty there's literally no going around the first checkpoint: to have healthy sleep pattern, and this is a roadblock in itself
and if you hungermaxx you'll just undo the muscle you gained in the gym because muscles go first

@tomie Well, I know how to gain muscule eventually, but why is the sleep so important?

Follow

@LukeAlmighty because it's the key part in the energy gaining and spending cycle, that's when you're supposed to restart your body for the new day; if this key component is fucked, everything else goes off the rails

@tomie
Thank you. This is the danger of "doing your own research", since one of the ever present scarecrows was the concept of irreversible metabolic slowdown.

So, whenever I saw myself getting tired all of a sudden, I saw it as a clue, that I need to slow the diet down immediately. And noone in any of the hundreds of videos did bother to mention that you will get sleepy.

@tomie
As if being sleepy isn't the total opposite of what most people connect to getting fit. -_-

@tomie
And yes, I did spend 9 + 4 + 2 years of my life under many teachers in PE class. Well, it seems there are some topics of fitness, that they might have missed. :ablobonfire:

At least we got to play football every fucking week.

@LukeAlmighty sugars and carbs aren't the devil you know: they are the main source of energy, so it's pretty natural that their sudden shortage causes tiredness and drowsiness
diets are way more complicated than "calorie deficit, hurr durr" :tanya_sigh:
