'oh no!' the moid cries, 'twilight is literally the worst thing ever! women literally ruined vampires! they're not menacing or scary anymore!' he wipes his weary red eyes with the same tissue he wiped his own semen after gooning to the image of the hot goth vampire chick #30674
@BlinkRape @tomie idk man i'd love a vampire gf
@tomie
You know how my mom said that I will one day be a school shooter?
She said it as a response for me not liking Twilight. So, of course, I am not surprised that this was the topic you chose to attack on.
You girls are just mind-broken by that book.
@LukeAlmighty did you even read twilight
@tomie
Seriously?
I just told you, why Twilight crossed the line from irredeamable to something that unironically affected my life, and your response is muh manga is better?
Look into a mirror FFS. I get it, that you woke up on the bad side, but you're really pushing it.
@LukeAlmighty twilight is not responsible for the actions of your mom
it's just a book and I literally asked you just 'did you even read twilight'
and FYI I didn't read twilight either
@tomie
I didn't say, that it was responsible. I was talking about the MOVIES, that my mom was so brainwashed by, that even a word of disagreement was a crime worthy of burning her relationship with her son...
And your response was muh manga..... Why would that question change literally anything about what I wrote?
@LukeAlmighty @tomie where did she say anything about manga lol
@beardalaxy @tomie
Don't mind my sense of humor.
@tomie
But sure... My mom read the book.
What should that change?
@tomie Well, and have you seen the movies then?
@LukeAlmighty just the first one
it was boring as fuck, knew a girl who loved the book and hated the movies, too
@LukeAlmighty but I don't deny that the original twilight movie is the definition of kino, with solid direction
but it was boring
@tomie
I saw 2 or 3. (I don't even know, but I haven't finished it)
But it gets much worse then just boring. The 2nd one for instance romanticizes suicide atempts. And the later ones have an adult fall in love with literal baby. (not sure if seconds or hours old)
So, I think, it's not that controversial to say, that the movies are weird.
@LukeAlmighty uhhh, no, he doesn't "fall in love with a literal baby", it's just gets established that they're literal soulmates in the magical sense of the word
were the same plot device deployed in an anime with a loli, you'd go "based" and "uoooooh"
@LukeAlmighty maybe you're also going to argue that you don't have sight on any hot goth vampire aesthetic chicks?
@tomie
> maybe you're also going to argue that you don't have sight on any hot goth vampire aesthetic chicks?
Is that even a serious question? Are you just trying to shame me to dodge the original point?
You're talking to an undatable weirdo. That much should have been obvious to you years ago. How does that change the fact, that falling in love with baby is seriously weird even for fantasy romance?
@tomie
Obviously, I have an anesthetic that I fall over fall. Alice being the ultimate queen and waifu for laifu. Yuno Gasai being in 2nd place, and Jinx being a new contender.
Yes, I know, that madness is a common dominator among them and I am not ashamed of it. But I know it's weird. And Vampires have always been hot as fuck. I literally went through puberty when Buffy was airing. But Twilight is just weirder then usual teen smut. Does it seriously seem average to you?
@LukeAlmighty I don't argue about Twilight being average or weird
I argue about men repeating the same stale points about Twilight ad nauseam when they a) never even engaged with the source material, and b) enjoy the same weird and weirder shit
@tomie
In that case, I would try bading this criticism on a ground more solid then Twilight...
Also, when you write: Guys like weird shit, literally noone will disagree.
