@beardalaxy I have a similar story about my copy of Crystal that went missing for years only for me to find it again inside the couch one day. lmao
Gen 3 is absolutely goated but I actually never got to play the original games and only touched it after the 3DS remakes came out. For some reason despite owning a GBA and a few games for it, I completely skipped Gen 3 because I was still playing my copy of Crystal for years after I found it. Even though the remakes were a bastardization of the originals (missing battle frontier, etc), the music really helped to pad the bad aspects of it a bit. This generation has some of the most memorable and beat tracks of any generation imo. I also still really enjoyed the Hoenn map. I would say Hoenn is tied with Johto as my second favorite generation despite not giving a single fuck about any Pokemon in Hoenn except for Metagross, who is actually my 3rd favorite Pokemon of all time. The music and map are just that good to me. Gen 4 (Platinum) is still my favorite and despite playing Gen 2 a lot, I really feel is tied with Gen 3. I also don't really care about any Pokemon in Gen 2. Even a bastardized version of Gen 3 had that much of a good impression on me.
@japananon Good luck, fren. I hope the lizards won't find you. Out of curiosity, what OS do you use? I want to get out of Microcock's ecosystem but I'm getting cucked by finding an alternative to Voicemeeter Potato for streaming and media volume control, which is Windows only. I don't NEED Voicemeeter but it's very useful and have been using it for almost 6 years.

I'm not saying WP is bad but Misskey's environment just offers everything I needed. It even has slight customization to the layout of the landing page, which is good enough for me.
The gallery my WP site was supposed to have can be emulated on Misskey via the Clips or Channels. I personally prefer Channels but only truly works in a single user instance since nobody else can post to it.
WP blogging is also covered by Misskey's Pages.

I deleted my WordPress site and the monthly payment for it in favor of Misskey. To be honest, I always found WordPress extremely confusing because it has so much support, there are different ways to accomplish everything. I believe my site was up for almost two years and I never quite finished setting it up. 
By comparison, Misskey is way easier to set up and accomplishes everything the WP site did.

Now I SCOURED to find the most pathetic dog that I could find, that is recently-ish at the end of their deadline.
This sad sack is Jasper, a young male german shepherd mix (ID A5630335) at the Las Angeles County ACC. He's just over a year old and a whopping 65lbs. He entered the shelter 6/4. meaning he's been at the shelter for 5 weeks, about a week over scheduled euthanasia date.
They say he's fearful; Tucked head in corner, froze, became resistant, flails on leash. However, that sounds like behavior inside the kennel environment, because the statement goes on to say; once out walked ok on leash, moderate pull, play yard, soft greetings, tolerant, relaxed, brief gentle./dainty play, social.
IME dogs are much more stressed in the loud, smelly dog kennels. I wouldn't expect that behavior in the kennel to transfer over to a home setting unless the 'home' setting is a hoarding situation. He doesn't even sound like he's stranger danger or a sheltered dog like my guy - just sounds like he doesn't show well in the kennel.

Salutora's sweet dog, Umekichi, passed away earlier today. Give him some condolences if you are able to. I have been following him since 2019 and his posts have brought me many smiles. I was always retooting Umekichi, as he was the goodest of boys. I'll sincerely miss this good boy. 
Very sad day today.

梅吉亡くなりました。
来週6/24（月）で、梅吉を保護し我が家に来て、丸12年になります。
あと少しで14歳のお祝いするはずでしたが、どうやら先に天国に行ったウルタ兄さんやサンディ姉さんに会いたくなったみたいで、空に向かって元気に走り出してさまいました。
永らく梅吉を応援してくださった皆様ありがとうございます。
