I'm on vacation and the cabin my parents rented has taxidermied heads of every deer the owner has killed. And they're everywhere including the room where I'm sleeping. It's fucking creepy.
Why do people do this? Dead animals are meant to be eaten, not preserved and displayed like fucking trophies.

@xianc78 yeah it's always annoyed me, it feels like the dudes who put those up are compensating for something because it's not like they had to go and wrestle the thing, they happened to find a big buck and shot it with a GUN.
@xianc78 At most I'm fine with rugs and clothes not in the shape of the actual animal.
