@Moon No but LaserDisc was always a niche format for videophiles.
@Moon Oh yeah, they also made Blu-Ray but I think Sony fucked it up by making it an even more proprietary and DRM filled format than DVD and it was just a few years before digital downloads and eventually streaming took off. Now, it will have the legacy as a niche format like LaserDisc.

@Moon It seems like the only things they will ever be known for are the Walkman and the PlayStation brand. Everything else is just useless junk that has better alternatives.

@CryptoBlok My only problem with Georgism is that it naturally requires a state (anarcho-georgism apparently exists but I don't know how that would work) and that land-value is subjective just like the value of labor or anything else really.

So the powers been out for several hours to local businesses, the Kroger is closed because of this, and the target across the street has the most cars I've ever seen in that lot because Kroger is literally closed and so are half the stores in the shopping center.

@sim it's being suppressed and ignored by the media right now because they fear it growing. in the Netherlands the government is planning to bring in carbon emission rules that will eliminate the majority of farmers income so they have begun blocking roads en masse. supermarkets are running out of food as a result
