@ryo @charliebrownau @thanius Someone already beat me to the punch at writing both a Golang and a C implementation. There is even a web-based client already.

Toot is a really stupid way to call posts though tbh

@coolboymew The Zelda one makes you use the boomerang instead of a sword.

@ryo You think they're going to know how to access an onion link?

@ryo @charliebrownau @thanius It looks dead easy to write an implementation though. Probably something I can do when I have the time.

I didn't know what this was until I looked it up. I literally thought of the same idea a while back. Just have an RSS feed for microposts, but I thought nobody would use such a thing. I was wrong.

I also basically had the same idea of the Gemini project and dismissed it for the same exact thing.

・Shitter → GNU Social, Pleroma, or twtxt, preferably your own personal website
・JewTube → PeerTube or self hosting WEBM/OGG files
・Goolag Maps → OpenStreetMap, although it's still an inferior project for the time being
・GayMail → hosting your own mail server with Postfix (or SMTPd if you're on OpenBSD) and Dovecot
・Goolag Search → SearX or SearXNG
・Goolag Crapp Store → just dump your phone, PC is where it's at
・Microshaft Office → (Neo)vim and sc-im, use LibreOffice as a normie-friendly alternative
・Dropbox → make your backups offline, for fuck sake! And for file sharing, simply hosting by yourself using the "scp", "sftp", or "rsync" commands are fine too.
・Any proprietary password manager → GNU Pass or KeePassXC
・WinDOS or macOS → Linux or BSD
・Android or iOS → again, dump your satanphone, you literally don't need it
・WordPress → static site generator, or write HTML by hand
・Outlook → (Neo)mutt or Claws Mail
・Cuckflare or Fastly → choose properly written software and common sense security configuration

Some of the stuff said to the journalists are too edgy for me but on the other hand it is pretty glorious watching people respond to them without the algos of twitter. Seeing how many people actually don't like journos because of what they've done to the general public. Not something that I'd get to see in the mainstream. I came here to escape their bullshit like so many other people.

@SoyMagnus @Duine germ vs terrain theory isn't a thing. they're both true.

@icedquinn @lanodan Well, at least you won't have any problems with any of my SFML games because I recently started using SFML, but I don't know if it supports motion controls.

@icedquinn @lanodan AFAIK Xbox never had any motion controls outside of the Kinect. Playstation had the six-axis with the PS3 and of course Nintendo had it in some form since the Wii.

Also, have you tried using the Switch Pro controller in a non-SDL application?

@icedquinn @lanodan Does this problem happen with other motion controllers? I never used any on PC. Currently, I use a wired Xbox One controller because I assume Microsoft stuff would work out of the box.

@ArdainianRight @n8 I just want to get at least one of them to play my latest game and write a hitpiece about it. Then, I can die happy.

the reason they call all the electrical vehicles "green tech" is because in this lithium strip mine the waste water has a green metalic tint from oxidized copper waste. they dump it into the river to combat climate change or something. so eco friendly tbh this green tech.
