Urutau uses a rack and pinion for the trigger sear… 3d printed gears have so much backlash… I wonder if it works kinda ok after you pick up the slack in the trigger though.

Is this a novel way to actuate the trigger sear in a bullpup?

I definitely understand why some people feel like a special place is being taken away from them. I think we'll find a way to get that feeling back eventually.

I'm not actually that upset by Twitter people coming here. I don't like almost any of them but they can do whatever here and I'll ignore or make fun of them.

Don't get too weirded out by the CBDCs yet; the Fed is, at best, running a virtualized pilot program to observe ledger consensus and better define the network. For big-s States, crytpo consensus methods mean faster, automated transactions that can displace the time-sink that is SWIFT, and for the Fed specifically it's ensuring that they have the answer to a post-SWIFT model. So BRICS will probably keep SWIFT going in some form and the West will, over the next decade, continue piloting, testing, and expanding the project right up until the point where enough stores don't take cash (for reasons of insecurity or whatever).

Just played my old SFC, immediately realized how quicker it is to even boot them up compared to current year cruft.

Back then:
1. Mario flashes.
2. Title screen.
3. Game starts.

Now:
1. "Powered by Unity" appears.
2. Developer's logo appears.
3. Publisher's logo appears.
4. Logo of the audio dependency appears.
5. Logo of another dependency appears.
6. Logo of yet another dependency appears.
7. Copyright (which is a scam) warning appears.
8. Anti-piracy warning appears.
9. Skippable intro, but unskippable at first boot.
10. Title screen.
11. If new game, force the user to waste 30 minutes to 1 hour to watch to the intro movie.
12. Tutorial level.
13. FINALLY the game sta...no wait, yet another tutorial.
14. Detailed instructions on how to jump using the A button.
15. OK, now the game starts!

> Just because something is old doesn’t make it bad. It makes it mature.

FINALLY, somebody gets it!
The reason why I prefer the old stuff over the new stuff is because the old stuff just works.

SysV works better than SoystemD, GTK2 works better than GTK3 and 4 combined, XMPP works better than whatever came after that, online forums, BBS's, newsgroups, and IRC all work better than Discucked, Guilded, ChatWork, Slack, or whatever else, static HTML+CSS-only websites work better than all the WordPress, Medium, Blogspot, some weird SoyScript required frontends, and all the other unnecessary cruft, old SFC, MD, PS1, N64, and older PC games are more fun than current year PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, or mobile gatcha gaymes, and so on.

Apparently, gatcha gaymes are better than all the current year AAA console and PC crap, simply because the gatcha gayme community stood up against censorship early on.

The government dox invoice soystem is going great already...
Yet another example of whatever the government touches gets destroyed.

声優業界、インボイス制度に反対 7割が年収300万以下・2割が廃業検討「夢のない話」政治イメージの影響に複雑な心境
(Voice acting industry opposes the invoice soystem, about 70% of them earn less than 3 million yen a year, about 20% considers closing their business due to the "futureless" political image)

("Futureless" is actually "dreamless story", but I had to change it to have it make sense in English, also I had to remove some words for this reason as well.)

@djsumdog @coolboymew Whether real or not, either way the mainstream media all around the world are responsible for enabling the mass-hysteria in the first place.
If nobody would have taken them as seriously, this wouldn't have happened.
And perhaps they'd just be going straight into war mongering or cloymet chainge instead, because they always need to scam the people somehow.
