@xianc78 @Moon I was in bookstore a few days ago, and there was a guy there reading The 4th Industrial Revolution by Klaus Schwab and making highlights with intensity. My daughter saw it and said, "do you think he bought that book (or just picked it from the shelf)?" Indeed he didn't look like a guy who returns his shopping carts, but I didn't want to be judgemental with no basis.

I've fine with calling someone a she if it looks like a she, or call someone a he if it looks like a he ... but if someone doesn't put in any effort other than a butterfly comb in his hair and expect to be called "she," ... that's honestly just prissy and selfish.

Pronouns are fairly simple, and like all language, they should represent things in a cognitively sane way:

Alright, here's 3 blocks drawn in 3 renders. The tilemap is created at runtime with variants of tiles on each side (which can be changed at compile time).

The sides are calculated using a simple bitmask, so b1111 means left, bottom, right, top respectively, of course, if you negate the bits using n^15 (15 borders) you can set N to the occupied blocks (the middle block has a block on the left and the right, so 10^15 sets it to a block with a border on the top and bottom)
