>But since they’re not used commonly as a primary source of currency, I prefer to treat them like digital stocks rather than actual money.
There's Bitejo which is like a Monero eBay/Craigslist.
@AnarkioCrypto@liberdon.com could probably tell you places where you can buy and sell using Monero.
I feel like the CEO of Blackrock pumping #Bitcoin is a concrete sign that it's failed to exist as a useful currency to advance liberty. Some would argue it was never intended for this, but even now there are people who will sloganeer Bitcoin fixes this in the face of censorship and financial repression.
#MoneroOrBust? More and more I start to side with those that argue that currency is the wrong battle in the first place when it comes to attempting to hold the powerful to account. (pun intended)

@hachi @ArdainianRight @LodedDiaper Wow, 40 cases over the span of a decade. That sure is one brutal genocide!
@hachi @locagainstwall Don't give me that bullshit. You've openly supported the death penalty to "transphobes".
Well that sucks. But it seems like the only truly decentralized blockchains out there are Monero and Bitcoin Cash, so this doesn't seem to be too surprising.
@PurpCat @mike @Hoss @mrsaturday Maybe implemented in a better way.
@Hoss @mike @mrsaturday Then we will make fully P2P social media the norm. Granted ISPs could just block the protocols, but they will be blocking the entire network.

@Pawlicker @CentaurBreeder @coolboymew @mangeurdenuage @Ricotta I see it mostly coming from Dads who actually wanted to get in the military themselves but couldn't for whatever reason (got kicked out, got injured, etc). Because of that, they hope that at least one of their children will serve. But to me, it's the same as parents hoping that their children will cure cancer or end world hunger, not realizing that their children will ultimately go their own path.
@Pawlicker @CentaurBreeder @coolboymew @mangeurdenuage @Ricotta All that is nothing compared to hardcore neocon parents who try to push you into the military (even though they legally can't force you).
