Seriously, why hasn't anyone created an emulator for the click-wheel iPod games yet? There are finally efforts to preserve feature phone games and flash games, but it seems like iPod games have been forgotten. Even if most of them were crap, they are still worth preserving in my opinion.

It's already known that these game packages are just zip files with a different extension. We just need to reverse engineer the executable in the archives.

I just learned that Apple killed off the entire iPod line last year.

As much as I hate Apple products, RIP. One of these days, I should get a used click-wheel iPod just to try out iPod Linux, and maybe be the first person to create an emulator for all those click-wheel iPod games.

Level editor is now running, but it's nothing, but an all brick background. Bare with me!

@coolboymew You could try Neocities, but I've heard that they do practice some censorship. You could also try any of the tilde.club clones. They offer web hosting along with a SSH environment to play around with.

Those are just the free options. You also have shared hosting which should be cheaper compared to VPS hosting.

But if you really want a VPS in particular, the only good one I know of is cockbox (run by the same guy who runs cock.li). He only accepts crypto (Bitcoin and Monero) payments though.

@caekislove @sjw @lanodan The money is just a bonus on top of doing what they love.

@lanodan @sjw From my experience, backend jobs tend to require Node.JS, Java (with Spring Framework), or ASPX knowledge. There are a few Golang jobs however, but not that much.

@lanodan @sjw It's virtual impossible to get a job without that kind of knowledge though. I had to bite the bullet and buy a bunch of certifications.

@coolboymew @mischievoustomato @Tadano @meso It seems like you had to have grown up in the arcades (as in been a frequent arcade visitor) to be good at them.
