@eletrotupi while we’re on the topic, I’d like free, public, A+ quality food, healthcare, a house, and a gaming PC.
Besides, a fleet of taxis would be the ideal public transport if not for the fact that each one needs to have a human driver, which makes them horribly inefficient and forces us to fall back to mass transit, with all of its shortcomings and annoyances. Guess what will happen if we manage to eliminate the whole driver issue? Autonomous taxis as cheap as buses. Yes please.
this indie bnnuy web animation trailer seems cool lol
thanks @cnx for the link
Okay, the smart shit seems to be running locally on a server located in the pod (the entire design is open-source), but I would rather not have this smart-shit at all.
Motherfucker, they do have microphones! I just want a home away from government control. I don't need or want this smart-shit.
Arktide seems to be more into traditional style homes (non of that smart shit) with the exception that they float of course. These also look a lot better than the SeaPods, but they are still in the pre-production phase.
>check on what the seasteaders are up to
>OceanBuilders seems to be making the most progress
>their seapods are "smart"
It seems to just be appliances activated by a smartring (no microphones or cameras), but why? Hopefully, this will be optional. Otherwise, we will have to hope that Arktide and other seasteading companies don't do this.
