The WHO is reading your text messages.
Your regular reminder that this has nothing to do with health, the surveillance and control is the goal.
The WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific has taken steps to explore the role and potential of dark social communication for promoting health messages and reducing the spread of misleading information during and between influenza pandemics.
‘Dark social’ refers to internet traffic outside the scope of most analytical tracking. It describes people’s interaction and sharing activities on private channels such as messaging apps, email and text messages.
Super Mario Movie
So I just saw the Super Mario Bros. Movie. I don't hate it but please don't take my word for it because I can't tell a bad movie from a good one, unless it's REALLY bad. But here are some comments (spoiler free but the movie is pretty predictable anyway):
* I wish they would've spend more time on the brother's backstory. This is one of the few times we actually see them in the "real world". You just see them fail one job and immediately end up in the Mushroom Kingdom.
* I don't get why people wanted Charles Martinet to voice Mario. That voice wouldn't work for someone speaking full sentences.
* Somehow Mario and Donkey Kong can communicate with each other and this movie pretty much ignores the Donkey Kong arcade game
* Not only are there Mario references but a TON of references to other Nintendo games if you look closely, but strangely there are no references to Zelda, at least from where I can tell
* Speaking of which, Mario is seen playing Kid Icarus on NES in his room. Strange that they pick such a relatively obscure Nintendo game
