@anemone @condret in both mozilla and gnome there are money paid to contractors and if you try to find out more about the contractor it leads to like, address of empty house in new jersey for example. could be real sole proprietor contractor. more likely people are slipping in payments for no work to friends, not necessarily "politically nefarious".

I don't trust lunduke either, he's deceptive, but in the past things he did he at least came with receipts.

@anemone @condret neither of them are really misappropriation of funds nor laundering, in both accusations they are colloquial and mean "spent money on things that aren't publicly traceable or are not really related to the code". the difference today is that lunduke actually did document it with references and accusation against omarchy, even if plausible, did not

🇺🇸 US dollar has lost 97% of its purchasing power since the Federal Reserve was created.

A $3 item in 1913 would cost $100 today.

So it seems like from now, and into the foreseeable future, every year, Americans will have one day where we are divided and want to kill each other, and are united in grief the next day.

As if SystemD, FlatPak and others weren't already trying to centralize the Linux ecosystem.

And from what I can tell, it isn't even a distro. It's just Arch bundled with a bunch of configuration files. So not a real distro, just a pre-configured Arch installation.

It's about fucking time too.

The post-1913 world order and it's consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

There should be a non-verbal way thank people when you are too lazy to talk. I would go with the ASL gesture for "thank you", but it's a fucking blow kiss.

I probably should've done this before, but I've decided to write design documents for all the games I've been dreaming of, including the ones I'm not ready to make. Just in case, it comes to a point where I can no longer work on gamedev stuff, even as a hobby, then maybe someone else can make those games a reality, if I can't.

I'm not quitting gamedev. It's just that my life has had many hard turns, as with many people in my age bracket (and you could probably know why), and I had to accept that a such a change in my life could happened that would force me to stop for good. If that event ever happens (unless I die unexpectedly), I will publish all my design docs under the public domain.

But besides that, I think it's important to write your ideas down instead of letting them gel in your head. I have a habit of doing that, but that's mostly because growing up I had fears of people reading private things I write.

It seems like the universe is preventing me from writing a platforming game. Either that or I just don't have that much experience in the genre, but either way real life happenings that have been going on the past month have ruined it for the umpteenth time.
