Incremental urbanism in action. @ktlannan @strongtowns @clmarohn
In June, Rosa Aguilar became the first commercial resident of Ciudad Morazán.
Our team was able to meet Rosa six months on and see how her business has grown.
She now has a new shop, has invested in new equipment and is employing staff.
You lost me at "stuck in small communities". I'll take rural Alaska over Chicago EVERY day. And if (when) shit hits the fan? Guess who will survive? People who know how to hunt, fish, forage, farm, can food, chop wood, haul water, etc? Or people with "expansive empathy"?
@Moon Brave, that cripto mining browser that offers paying in her cripto currency? and never pay you for using that browser… a googleless chromium is a better idea than that.
So apparently, LBRY is closing down and eventually Odysee will slowly go down with it. I don't get why people just use PeerTube. Monetization shouldn't be an excuse because AFAIK creators on LBRY/Odysee are paid through crypto donations. You can literally do that on any platform. Not to mention that you still have sponsorships and crowd-tipping services like Patreon.
