@matrix Oh for the love of god.

This is why I prefer almond milk. :blobthumbsup:

@shebang @matrix
Its literally nutted milk! However, does almond cum tastes better?

@xyfdi @matrix Its not literally nutted milk because its not really milk its just straight up nut. :alexjonessmug:

I mean it tastes faintly of almonds but has like 1/3rd the fat of skim milk so… :blobshrug:

It tastes fine for coffee and stuff.

@shebang
I guess it can work as a milk substitute for coffee and tea. Is it any good for cooking or is that just the lack of fat that just renders it useless for this purpose?

(I used to drink ~3L of milk a day as a kid, but haven't drank any milk for the better part of the last 20 years or so. Thinking about it, I guess I forgot what it tastes like.)
@matrix

@xyfdi @matrix I don’t do a lot of cooking, but I made a custard with it and it turned out just fine. So I can’t really say honestly.

@shebang
👍 I'll give it a shot tomorrow (if shops near my flat has some), see what pancake tastes like. 🙂
@matrix

@shebang
I don't taste that much of a difference to be honest. I don't know if its the flower I used or the almond milk, but the mixture was cement-like. I got 4 pancakes out of a mixture for 12-13.
@matrix

@xyfdi @matrix interesting. I wonder if the much lower fat content was the reason.

@shebang
It could be the lack of milk. But I put in +500ml of the required 480ml, so I doubt its this. Isn't milk more watery?

@shebang
Yeah, could be... Will try next time. When it comes to taste there was no difference to me.
