@VD15 @matrix I get why one would put functional programming in a course, its something that exists and could be useful one day. But if your students want to have a shot at the job market, give them something that is actually desired by employers, not some esoteric shit like Haskell.

I work for a Scala shop and finding programmers are fucking hard to find as opposed to the regular really hard. Who the fuck wants Haskell with their fake testimonials on their site and a negligible userbase?

@freemo yeah, its horrible. I try to use racism, nazi, rape etc etc etc as little as possible on order te preserve its value and what it represents. Then came the tumblerinas, academia and finally the press and at this stage these terms seem meaningless. If everything is whateverism, nothing is whateverism...
