The full game will be releasing next month on March 14th, but this limited demo will let you experience some of the game's towns and side quests. Feedback on the demo is appreciated, and if there is anything that can be addressed before the full release it certainly will be. God's Disdain Version 1.1.0 Patch Notes 

-Added import/export to desktop version to enable cross save between web and desktop. Accessible in the Options menu.
-Added the Taunt skill which lets Warriors draw the aggression of enemies.*
-Added the Steal skill which lets Rogues steal items from enemies.*
-It is now possible to escape from most normal encounters if you have a Rogue in the party.
-Added notifications for Dokutsu Caverns 2 and the Gilskov Range to tell players they might be too low level for the area.
-Added dialogue to Chinatsu to help guide the player after finishing her quest.
-Changed boulder behavior in Dokutsu Caverns to prevent softlocks and annoyances.
-Fixed the moonwalking enemy in Dokutsu Caverns 2.
-Fixed a softlock in the Hajimari Hurdles that connect to Monblanc Town.

*New Skills will not appear automatically for characters in your current save file. Please visit the Hajimari overworld to unlock them.

God's Disdain Version 1.1.0 is being uploaded to Itch, Newgrounds, and Steam right now! The game has progressed to the point that I feel it is finally deserving of that second decimal place going up.

Included in this are some bug fixes, but most notably also some new features:

Warriors can now use a Taunt skill to draw enemy aggression towards them. Warriors have high HP and can now use it to provide help to the rest of the party.

Rogues can now use a Steal skill to nab items off enemies without having to defeat them. Defeating enemies doesn't always result in drops, so this is a great way to get extra items.

If you have a Rogue in your party, you can now escape from most battles. Before, you could only escape from random battles on the overworld. Now, you can run around a dungeon stealing items from enemies and then safely retreating.

The desktop version of God's Disdain now also has the ability to export and import saves, so you can freely move saves between the desktop and web versions. You could always access the save files on the desktop version, but this will export a save in the web-friendly format for Newgrounds and Itch.io. Just remember that browser saves are somewhat volatile, so make sure to export your save slot before leaving the page.

God's Disdain Version 1.0.16 Patch Notes 

-Fixed a bug that let you enter the Birthday Dungeon on any day of the year that would also prevent you from leaving without dying and reviving.
-Fixed a softlock that could occur if you sequence break the Limani Mansion mirror puzzle. Still looking into the sequence break itself.
-Fixed a trap tile in the Hurdles' Descent dungeon that didn't work.
-Fixed a bug that would cause the player to teleport when using the Map item.

Web version specific:

-Added a way to import and export your save data. Simply use the "Export/Import Save" option on the title screen and type the number of the save slot you would like to export.

God's Disdain Version 1.0.15 Patch Notes 

-Corrected a misspelled word in the Birthday Sword's description.
-Fixed a unique quest NPC that previously wouldn't spawn.
-Fixed a bug where Skeleman would reset after finishing his quest.
-Fixed a text display error in the Mountain Twist dungeon when interacting with the locked gate without a Dungeon Key.
-Adjusted the audio level during the Mountain Twist sound puzzle to make the crystal sounds easier to hear.
-Moved the switch for the first sound puzzle in Mountain Twist to make it easier to change the crystals.
-Made a failsafe for progressing through Mountain Twist without Locke.
-Fixed dialogue in the Mountain Twist elevator to be Locke's instead of Tamiko's.
-Fixed a bug that happened when leaving the large boulder puzzle in Mountain Twist from the top door instead of the bottom door.
-Fixed a softlock in Mountain Twist when going back to the party from the elevator instead of the first floor after finishing the large boulder puzzle.
-Fixed a syntax error in the dialogue when setting Chork on fire.
-Fixed a bug that made the Graffiti King's dialogue in the Parvius Jail occur even if he hadn't been turned in.
-Heavily simplified the coding for the flame wall and boulder puzzle in Mt. Fujima. This might help avoid some issues players were having with it.

A little birdie told me that today might be the only day of the year you can enter a certain dungeon in God's Disdain.

God's Disdain Version 1.0.14 Patch Notes 

-Fixed a bug where the rock puzzle in the Great Loot Dungeon wouldn't reset when you pressed the switch.
-Fixed the audio repeating glitch for the rock puzzle in the Great Loot Dungeon.
-Fixed collision in the Zantobir Art Gallery to make sure NPCs can't lock you inside.

If you are playing on Newgrounds, there seems to be an issue with Brave Browser where it erases save files. I'm trying to find the source of this issue but for now, I would recommend using a different browser or downloading the game instead.

-Fixed a bug that caused the player to teleport when using the Map item.

God's Disdain Version 1.0.12 Patch Notes 

-Added mouse functionality to the difficulty option.
-Changed default options as a failsafe in case the included configuration file is unavailable.
-Locked input after selecting New Game on the title screen.
-Removed the free map item given to the player at the start of the game.
-Fixed dialogue positioning in Kowan Town and the overworld when clicking on boats you don't own.
-Fixed an issue with the Supply and Demand quest where interacting with Slim would cause the player to become permanently invisible.

If you have saved your game while in this invisible state, please navigate to the pool of water beneath Pacho Town. It is right next to the road you took to find Slim. If you click on it, your character will become visible again. It will be easier if you use your mouse to do so. Apologies for the large inconvenience.

God's Disdain Version 1.0.11 Patch Notes 

-Fixed a section in the Great Loot Dungeon where you could get stuck on some planks.
-Fixed a locked door that Avadel could not pick open in Sodai.

-Slightly decreased the amount of negative karma gained when lockpicking doors.
-Attempted to fix a bug that might prevent initiating the Volcano boss fight.

There have been reports that walking into the boss room in the Volcano (Mt. Fujima) causes the party to stand around and the cutscene is unable to initialize. There is also apparently an issue where you can get stuck inside of the walls of the Catacombs. If anyone has any more information about these bugs, please do not hesitate to reach out through DM or replying to this post! Thank you so much.
