Very considering using Windows for my game recording laptop for this but it feels dirty after I switched to Linux on everything. But if there's one thing that Windows has above Linux it's that I can use a 20 year old driver for uncommon hardware with no problem.

There is a Linux driver but even compiling a new kernel with it provided, it doesn't seem to work, despite using a commonly used chip. SAA7160... The driver is there now but the device won't use it for some reason.

I recently acquired this, an ExpressCard capture card. It doesn't work on Linux though despite me trying for ages to get a working driver. But it's a fun thing.
