These fucking "charities" are a major reason, I think, why people end up committing abuse against real children in real life.
The person seeing that becomes paranoid and eventually thinks "in for a penny, in for a pound" "might as well".
It's paradoxical.
In trying to "stop it now!", they end up "gateway"-ing people themselves.
Typical American-type moralistic overreaction leading to spike in "criminality" (prohibition period, war on drugs etc...). It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's ouroboros.
These "charities" wouldn't survive without real life abuse (if there was no "problem", they wouldn't be needed now, would they?), so they have a vested interest in perpetuating (even increasing) the rate of real life abuse.

You type in "lolicon hentai" into the Google search bar, and a request from "Stop It Now!" comes up, telling you to phone them and then gaslighting you, saying that you have mental issues and that lolicon is CSAM and that if you don't phone them you'll rape a child because you saw lolicon or some shit like that.
Of course, "Stop It Now!" is based in the U.S. and has chapters around the (Western) world.
It says it's a "charity" (non-profit)...
Can't wait till they get added to the Charitywatch Hall Of Shame...

Honestly? While I wanted to in the past, I don't really want to live there long-term now.
There is crazy stuff in the U.S. that people pride themselves on, while in the rest of the world people look at such things in horror/disbelief.

Either way, their art is on there, which was the point I was making, and their social media accounts are listed for people to interact with, even if they don't have an Atf account.

Generally, my position is it's anything intended to cause physical and/or psychological harm.
It's a pretty broad definition, to be fair, but I think it works best.
