The idea that we "need" them to remain Western is a lie.

@bulky_nerd yeah, the first course I took in uni during my Bachelor's degree was called "history of philosophy".
If I could summarize Nietzsche, it would be "you are the master of reality" or "don't be a slave to others, but make your own way".
Philosophy is important for understanding why we think the way we do, or why we do what we do, or for opening new perspectives on life itself.
Never dismiss philosophy.

I think it's worth pointing out, for all the "Übermensch Nietzschean National Socialist Apollonian Hellenist" types that Nietzsche thought there was nothing wrong with pederasty (or, it can be argued, pedophilia).
In fact, he jokingly was ambivalent to it exactly BECAUSE the Christians hated it. To Nietzsche, Christians hate the sexual. They hate eroticism. They hate pleasure. All these things are fundamental to the human experience. So, naturally, Nietzsche supported "eros", he supported the idea of turning Christian "slave morality" on its head.

Obviously I was a child, so I have idealistic views (there is basically open racism against non-Arabs - aside from Europeans - there is essentially slavery, society is policed by religious morality police etc...).
But on the whole, the place I lived in was stable and I still consider the friends I made there my closest friends ("bloodbrothers", in fact).

Double irony is that John Smyth went around the world campaigning for "Muscular Christianity" and against legalizing gay-marriage.
Europe in general is better than the U.S. in general.
Of course, both have their positives and negatives.
But on the whole, and in my opinion, Europe is a much more stable place.

This is what Bibi did when he violated his own ceasefire agreement a month ago.
They act like they can agree to a ceasefire, and then violate it, and then say "oh, actually we have a "new" ceasefire proposal that only we and the U.S. have seen, and it's all Hummus' fault for the previous ceasefire breaking down".
This is how Russia has been acting regarding negotiations over Ukraine. Practically 100% the same.
Their "Black Sea ceasefire" deal was that there would be no attacks on ports/shipping, but then Russia changed it and added a demand that some sanctions be lifted.
Every time there are "negotiations", Israel and Russia insist that they get preferential treatment. If they don't, they start bombing again, and then rinse and repeat.
Once again, it's like a police officer trying to negotiate with a rapist to stop raping, but the rapist is like "lemme finnish, I'm so close to nutting!".
Another interesting thing to note is that some victims actually said they would have forgiven their abuser, no questions asked, if he actually apologized.
Obviously, John Smyth was too proud and too religious and too conservative to come out and apologize to the (then) boys he abused.
Conservatards really just make the situation worse for everyone, all the time. They make it worse for themselves by hiding and refusing to apologize for their mistakes, and then when they get revealed the society goes into hysterics and overreacts, leading to mass-repression to "prevent this ever happening again".

It's crazy how the British government/Church, in looking at the case of John Smyth, decided that the problem essentially was there wasn't enough "social conservatism/religious dogma" in society, rather than there being too much.

When you look at the abuse John Smyth engaged in, it appears to be a sort of sadistic desire to inflict pain out of self-hatred for his own attractions (an affront to God). He was trying to "purge" himself and his victims of "sin" by beating and abusing them. Almost like a male version of the headmistress from Matilda.
