A cop tried to shoot my dog once, when I was a kid. One of the neighbors was getting arrested for something, my dog was barking, the cop "felt threatened" by a dog that wasn't even near him, and threatened to shoot him. It's something that's always stuck with me, and it's probably why I hate cops and authority in general now. Like what kind of fucking scumbag threatens to shoot a kid's dog, right in front of them?
