@hideki Yup, studios do not have people running them the way they used to, and the people they hire are different too, the old works came from adversity and working within constraints, viewing their work was (and still is) a spiritual experience, a communication of kinship between creator and observer. New anime feels like a tv commercial, all flash no substance. I also can't stand the smoothness of movement from improperly animated cg, it hurts when I see it, I can't look at it.
