There's just something about a person so fucking stupid that they think their accomplishments are A) their own and B) something to be lauded, they truly fail to realize that the accomplishment is for THEM, that if they only feel something when someone else ACKNOWLEDGES the accomplishment, then it was all just a facade, and was not genuine, and is therefore not admirable, unless you're admiring a fake for what a fake it is

I wish I came from a family that wasn't a bunch of fucked up lying pieces of trash, I bet I'd be much happier if I had an honorable and sincere family instead of a bunch of neurotic, panicky, unactualized, lemmings.

@theblessing 1984 is about the experience of a low caste member in a dystopia, bnw is about the experience of a high caste member. High cast members get to go to the feelies, the orgies, they get to have soma, they have relative freedom. The proles in 1984 get jack shit, they get the two minutes hate and gruel and barely any cigarettes and have to make a razor last long past it's point of usability. The proles do not get to have feelies, and orgies, and soma, no, the proles get to have disgusting old rotten whores with painted faces to trick you until you get real close, close enough to smell em.

@sekuhara @mario @bitterblossom @doorroo Your idea is much simpler and heuristic, I prefer it. I forget that bureaucracy isn't a part of the environment, it is a practice, I usually try and twist this system into something functional rather than abolish it, because of this forgetfulness. But it is more than forgetfulness, it is fear, there is a fear in me that if bureaucracy was ever collapsed, everything everywhere will die. And yet I consciously hate bureaucracy, I find it wasteful of time and energy and resources, but it's like an addiction, It's like a comfort, It's sick. Bureaucracy is like the Little drummer boy and when I march along with him I feel oh so in step, and oh so at ease, and yet in the back of my mind there is something scratching, screaming to get out because it knows that we are trapped.

@doorroo @mario @bitterblossom This is a valid point that I have considered myself and is why I believe everyone should be restricted from giving consent from infancy onward, and it will only be when they are able to pass a series of tests to prove they aren't emptyheadded. Some will pass the tests at an early age, single digits for some, most will pass as teens, and another smaller percentage would pass much older, or maybe even never.
