It's definitely real, Ted was one of us. Famously (well, famously to people who know Ted I guess) shortly before he fucked off into the woods and starting mailing bombs he had resolved to go talk to a therapist and actually transition. Right before the appointment he backed out and started on the bombing stuff instead.
There are various accounts of this in documentaries about him, but he was always pretty closed off about it even when he was giving interviews in prison so it's mostly speculation.

@animeirl Yea I don't like him because he couldn't care less about what happened to actual human beings, he was just mad and wanted to kill people, he even said he wanted to kill loud college students who left empty cabs laying around, the dude was in a dark place and gave into that darkness. Imagine if instead of blowing shit up he got some charisma and wrote some books, but no he needed to nut, he needed that gratification, humanity be damned. I see a sad story of a guy who wasted his and others lives.

Hello fedi frens! Only one week passes between shabbats and yet so much can change, while so much still can remain the same. This church night I would like to focus on communication. We communicate, all of us do, what do we communicate? Why do we communicate? Are these only things we use with good intentions, or is there something more sinister that lurks beneath the surface? Is the communication honest, or is it a manipulation, a ruse, nothing more than a scheme, to deceive and entrap. Communicate carefully, and wisely, and know that trust is not only for the ignorant, it is also for the brave.
