I worry sometimes about other instances being fake accepters of paraphiles and they only keep me there as a callduck to attract other paras who they can then turn into lolcows (because I am unmilkable)

@beardalaxy Imagine if the president broke free of his handlers, messed his hair up, got naked, and ran through the city streets screaming. Initially they'd think he was a crazy man who kind of looked like trump, but soon the facts would emerge, and that's when things would get interesting. Would they be able to memory hole such an event?

The way people act, they all act like they have no mold, and that mold is like gamma rays. I don't believe myths about mold being "deadly", maybe to eat yes, but there is no known fungal spore that is harmful on contact, even when breathed in, unless someone has an already compromised immune system, in which case yes they need to be in a sterile room.

@Groomschild @vitalis Yes much of life was stable and "boring", the times when it wasn't are times that are recorded. Nobody records the perfectly average day of normal comfort they had, or the records aren't considered as important and so we don't have as many.

@vitalis Like how media always shows vlad the impailer as just stabbing people on long sticks, when in reality a greased pole was driven up their bottom until it either came out the upper half, managing it out the mouth was seen as a point of honor among the torturers. Horses were used with ropes and they were driven slowly and steadily. When done "properly" the victim would live for days. Vlad practiced on birds and mice with sticks as a child.
