Watching Vaush is such a guilty pleasure.

I know, that I won't agree with him. I know he is dishonest and ontologically evil. But that is quite common. I don't watch Counterpoints just because he lies.

No...I watch Vaush, because his lies are so ridiculous, that there is no sane person could formulate these sentences witout shitting themselves with laughter. He just doesn't care about reality when describing the evil oposition. And it's hilarious.

@LukeAlmighty Honestly... when I hear someone say something that insane... I can't help but think they're projecting. And considering Vaush's history with horse cocks... how big of a jump would it be?

@alyx
Sure, but you know the saying that it's like watching a train crash?

Watching his jumps in logic is like watching a fucking Nuking of Hiroshima. Looking away is literally impossible, even when my eyes are going blind from the show.

@LukeAlmighty Sure, but I still wouldn't be able to stand watching Vaush. I already get annoyed enough from moderately bad takes from plenty of people. But being continuously subjected to Vaush's nuclear bad takes... My brain would melt. All I can say is, you have more stamina than me, to be capable to withstand witnessing it directly.

@alyx Yeah, don't worry, we just have different pressure points.

Some people recomended me Countrapoints, and I literally cannot handle him for more then 4 minutes. The way he just keeps on throwing his ridiculous axioms one after another, each wrong in it's own retarded way only so he can construct an "technically valid" argument is so insufferable.

And all of then has to be done in ridiculous costumes, with painfully obvious ""jokes"" and while signaling moral supperiority under troon lighting straight from dragon age..

@LukeAlmighty he carries himself like such an intellectual and then says shit like this it's hilarious

@LukeAlmighty I thought he was going to say something else and then it caught me off guard 🤣
@LukeAlmighty You watch a lof of nigger faggot kikes.
Okkk, let's break it down. First off there are many people who heavily support tariffs and have supported them even long before Trump ran for president for the first time. Secondly, there are many people who unironically wish for the economy to crash. If I recall correctly, @c5e17379 posted that very sentiment earlier this week. I believe a lot of people think that total social or economic collapse would give rise to a better system afterward. I know that a lot of people believe that romantic relationships between men and women could be a lot more traditional and healthy if we had a better social system. In other words, they refuse to believe that the shittyness of the modern dating scene is just an unchangable consequence of life in the 21st century. I believe that Vaush likely understands and agrees with me on these interpretations of people's beliefs.

Next, I know that Vaush has a pretty damn fucked up interpretation of consent and rape. I believe that Vaush thinks consent and rape is 100% about power imbalances between marginalized groups in society. I have reason to believe that Vaush sees questions of whether a person is capable of consenting or refusing to consent as a purely economic and political issue. I remember Vaush once said that in a well implemented Communist system there would be no power imbalances between different people. And I remember he said that sexual acts with children are immoral because of the power imbalance, and therefore in a well implemented Communist system, there would be no moral need or benefit of an age of consent.

If we make the assumption and sloppy generalization that a lot of Trump supporters simultaneously hold all of the beliefs I've talked about, if they support tarriffs BECAUSE they think they will lead to economic collapse BECAUSE it will lead to a social system that's better BECAUSE it will result in a more traditional dating scene, then we can start to see Vaush's perspective. It's not a stretch to assume that Vaush imagines in his own head that such a dating scene would have a large power imbalance, and that therefore any sex that occurs in such a context would be automatically rape regardless of any Trump supporter's cries of "but what if the woman consents tho???"

However I would prefer to actually talk with Vaush than wildly speculate on how or why he might have come to this conclusion. Trying to interpret people's thoughts like Vaush and I are doing is a complete waste of time when compared to the possibility of actually talking with the person you are trying to pin down. The feedback loop of being able to actually talk with someone just doesn't compare to speculation from the outside.

@LukeAlmighty Wait so there's easy rape in it for me too???
